The Polaris Grill The objective of this 6,600 square foot facility was to create an intimate, comfortable atmosphere, capturing some of the relaxed qualities of gracious southern living. The exterior provides low, deep overhangs with a combination of natural and painted brick. The main dining room and bar look out through a porch wrapping around two sides of the building on to a landscaped intimate patio. The interior is made up of simple materials; stained wood, painted wood panels, brick, stained concrete floors and patterned carpet. The beamed and wood ceiling has been lowered to 9'-0" above finished floor to create a more intimate environment in the main dining area. |
