University Square South forms the southern anchor of University Square, a signature mixed-use development marking the ceremonial entrance to The Ohio State University and the broader Arts District. Designed in collaboration with The Ohio State University, Campus Partners, and Robert A.M. Stern Architects, the five-story building continues the project’s architectural dialogue of tradition and innovation while fostering an active, pedestrian-oriented streetscape along 15th Avenue and High Street.
The building houses key university administrative offices, including the Office of the President, in bright, modern workplaces that promote connection and transparency. The ground floor features a dynamic mix of retail and restaurant spaces, contributing to the lively, walkable character of the district and reinforcing the project’s role as a bridge between campus and community.
Lupton Rausch led the core and shell design and collaborated with the interior design team to craft welcoming, refined public spaces that reflect the building’s role within a cohesive and vibrant campus gateway./p>
